- Millenium Water Alliance (MWA) - The MWA is a consortium of leading nongovernmental organizations whose goal is to help 500 million people obtain water and basic sanitation by 2015.

Environmental Health
- CORE Group - CORE is a membership association of international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), that promotes and improves the health and well-being of children and women in developing countries through collaborative NGO action and learning. As of November 2006, CORE's 47 member organizations work in more than 180 countries and have a combined annual revenue of approximately $9 billion.
- International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research/Bangladesh (ICDDRB) - The mission of ICDDRB is to develop and promote realistic solutions to the major health, population and nutrition problems facing the poor people of Bangladesh and other settings.
- University of Michigan - Environmental Change and Diarrheal Disease - This project investigates how changes in the social and natural environment, mediated by road construction, affect the epidemiology of pathogens causing diarrheal diseases in Ecuador.
- U.S. Agency for International Development/Global Health - USAID programs in global health represent the commitment and determination of the US government to prevent suffering, save lives, and create a brighter future for families in the developing world. USAID's objective is to improve global health, including child, maternal, and reproductive health, and the reduction of abortion and disease.

- Hygiene Centre-London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine - The Hygiene Centre is a research group at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine devoted to developing a better understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices which can be used to inform public health policy.
- International Scientific Forum on Home Hygiene (IFH) - The IFH is a non-profit, non-government organization comprising scientists and healthcare professionals who play an active role in hygiene policy and scientific research.
Indoor Air Pollution
- Kirk Smith's Indoor Air Pollution Web Site - Kirk R. Smith is Professor of Environmental Health Sciences and holds the Maxwell Endowed Chair in Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley. He is also founder and coordinator of the campus-wide Masters Program in Health, Environment, and Development. His research work focuses on environmental and health issues in developing countries, particularly those related to health-damaging and climate-changing air pollution, and includes ongoing field projects in India, China, Nepal, Mexico, and Guatemala.
- Partnership for Clean Indoor Air (PCIA) - The mission of PCIA is to improve health, livelihood and quality of life by reducing exposure to air pollution, primarily among women and children, from household energy use.

Malaria - Vector-borne Disease Control
- Malaria Atlas Project (MAP) - MAP is a joint project between the Malaria Public Health & Epidemiology Group, Centre for Geographic Medicine, Kenya and the Spatial Ecology & Epidemiology Group, University of Oxford, UK. The main objective of this project is to develop a detailed model of the spatial limits of Plasmodium falciparum and P. vivax malaria at a global scale and its endemicity within this range.
- Malaria Consortium - The Malaria Consortium is a non-profit organization in the United Kingdom and governed by an independent Board of Trustees.
- Malaria Foundation - The Malaria Foundation International is non-profit organization that has been dedicated to the fight against malaria since 1992. The MFI’s goals are to support awareness, education, training, research, and leadership programs for the immediate and long term development and application of tools to combat malaria.
- WHO Tropical Disease Research - This web site provides information on malaria, yellow fever, filariasis and other diseases as well as summaries of WHO programs and publications about these diseases.

- DEW Point Resource Centre on Water, Sanitation and the Environment - The DEW Point Resource Centre generates and disseminates knowledge on behalf of DFID staff and their development partners in environment, water resources, water and sanitation and climate change.
- IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre (IRC) - Founded in 1968, IRC facilitates the sharing, promotion and use of knowledge so that governments, professionals and organizations can better support poor men, women and children in developing countries to obtain water and sanitation services they will use and maintain.
- SANDEC - SANDEC is the Department of Water and Sanitation in Developing Countries at the Swiss Federal Institute for Aquatic Science and Technology (Eawag).
Its mandate is to assist in developing appropriate and sustainable water and sanitation concepts and technologies.
- UNICEF/Water, Environment and Sanitation - UNICEF works in more than 90 countries around the world to improve water supplies and sanitation facilities in schools and communities, and to promote safe hygiene practices.
- WaterAid UK - WaterAid is an international non-profit organization with the goal of helping one million people gain access to water and one million gain access to sanitation every year by 2010.
- Water, Engineering and Development Centre (WEDC) - WEDC is concerned with education, training, research, and consultancy relating to the planning, provision, and management of infrastructure for development.
- Water and Sanitation Program (WSP) - WSP is an international partnership of development agencies concerned with improving sector policies, practices and capacities to serve poor people. WSP's goal is to alleviate poverty by helping the poor gain sustained access to water and sanitation services.
- Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC) - WSSCC seeks to accelerate the achievement of sustainable sanitation, hygiene and water services to all people, with special attention to the unserved poor by enhancing collaboration and coordination of all sector stakeholders, nationally and internationally.
- WELL Project, Water and Environmental Health at London and Loughborough - The WELL resource centre for water, sanitation and environmental health was first established in 1996 and was managed by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and the Water, Engineering and Development Centre (WEDC).
- West Africa Water Initiative - In its first six-year phase, this partnership of thirteen international institutions in investing more than $45 million small-scale, potable water supply, sanitation, hygiene, and integrated water resources management in Ghana, Mali, and Niger.

Center for Global Safe Water - conducts applied research, evaluation, and training to promote global health equity through universal access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene solutions for the world's most vulnerable populations. Principal partners include Emory University, CARE USA, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
- Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI) Water Planner - A new water sustainability tool called “Collecting the Drops: A Water Sustainability Planner, ” provides a process by which a company or facility user, regardless of location, can assess its specific situation with regard to water resources. It provides a list of considerations that need to be taken into account to assess specific water uses/needs, impacts on the existing available resources and the resulting opportunities and risks.
- Global Water Foundation - is a grant-making and educational foundation; its defining characteristics are to raise funds and encourage creativity which can be supported by local ownership, original solutions, hinging on solid sustainability principles...
- Multiple Use Water Services Group - This portal provides information on the provision of multiple use water services. It focuses on how these may be made to work for poverty reduction by supporting people to get access to water for both domestic and productive activities. The productive focus is on small-scale activities like backyard gardening, livestock keeping and micro-enterprises.
- International Water Association (IWA) - IWA was founded in September 1999 by the merger of the International Association of Water Quality (IAWQ) and the International Water Supply Association (IWSA).
- Paul Simon Water for the Poor Act 2005 - On June 1, the Department of State submitted to Congress its initial report on water issues in developing countries.
- U.S. Agency for International Development/Water - USAID has made the preservation and environmentally sound development of the world’s water resources a top priority. The Agency’s investments have helped improve access to safe and adequate water supply and sanitation, improve irrigation technology, enhance natural environments, and develop better institutional capacity for water resources management in countries around the world.
- Water Information Center: National Academies of Science - This portal has more than 100 peer reviewed reports from the National Academies that offer independent, objective advice on many water-related issues in the United States and abroad.
- World Water Council - The World Water Council was established in 1996. Its mission is to promote awareness, build political commitment and trigger action on critical water issues at all levels to facilitate the efficient management and use of water in all its dimensions.

- Making Cities Work - USAID's Urban Programs Team is dedicated to increasing economic prosperity, democracy and security in the world's rapidly growing cities. The Team works across sectors to advance the Agency's Making Cities Work Strategy in Urban Poverty, City Governance, Urban Health and Environmental Services, and other areas.
- World Bank Development Marketplace - Development Marketplace (DM) is a competitive grant program of the World Bank that funds innovative, small-scale development projects for providing clean water, sanitation and energy services for the poor in developing countries.
